Tim Oranye Pakai Kaos Daur Ulang Bekas Botol Air Mineral

Kesebelasan nasional Belanda, Oranye akan tampil di turnamen Piala Dunia Sepakbola, Afrika Selatan 2010 menyandang kaos daur ulang bekas botol air mineral.
Kaos berbahan dasar plastik polyethylene terephthalate (PET) banyak dipakai untuk kemasan air mineral dan bahan makanan dilansir perusahaan pakaian dan atribut olah raga Nike.
Bukan Raphael Van Der Vart dkk saja yang akan memakai kaos plastik. Masih ada sederetan timnas yang bakal memakai kaos bekas botol air mineral. Tim Samba Brasil, Portugal, Korea Selatan, Australia, Selandia Baru, Serbia, dan juga tim Amerika Serikat berjuluk The Yanks, Stars & Stripes juga mengenakan kaos daur ulang.
Untuk bisa memasok baju berbahan dasar dari PET, Nike membutuhkan sekitar 13 juta botol bekas air mineral. Ini setara dengan pemanfaatan kembali sampah plastik sebanyak 250.000 kg. Bayangkan kalau hal ini terjadi pada Timnas Indonesia, berapa banyak timbulan sampah yang berkurang akibat hal tersebut.
Nike mensponsori timnas Belanda besutan Bert van Marwijk sampai tahun 2018. Bisa jadi, botol air mineral bekas Anda minum, bulan Juli nanti menghiasi tubuh Arjen Robben, Klaas Jan Huntelaar dan kawan-kawan. Bravo Oranye.......
